
Terms & Conditions
1. Estimates and Pricing
● All estimates are non-binding unless stated otherwise in a written agreement signed by both parties.
● Prices may change due to material costs, labor availability, unforeseen conditions, code requirements, or client-requested changes.
● Additional work not included in the original scope will require a written change order and may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
● Estimates are typically valid for a limited time as stated in the proposal.
2. Scope of Work
Trusted Touch Construction will perform only the work specifically described in the signed contract or proposal.
We are not responsible for:
● Pre-existing structural defects
● Hidden damage (e.g., mold, rot, pests, faulty wiring, foundation issues)
● Hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead unless explicitly stated
● Work performed by third parties not under our direct contract
● Design errors in plans provided by clients or outside professionals
Discovery of hidden conditions may require additional work, costs, or schedule changes.
3. Permits and Compliance
Unless otherwise specified in writing:
● The client is responsible for obtaining permits, approvals, and inspections.
● If Trusted Touch Construction agrees to obtain permits, associated fees will be billed to the client.
● We perform work in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations in effect at the time of construction.
We are not liable for delays caused by permitting authorities, inspections, or regulatory agencies.
4. Project Timeline
All project timelines are estimates only.
Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
● Weather conditions
● Supply chain disruptions
● Labor shortages
● Permit delays
● Site access issues
● Client decision delays or changes
● Acts of God or emergencies
Trusted Touch Construction is not responsible for damages resulting from schedule changes.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your contract. Unless otherwise stated:
● Deposits may be required prior to scheduling work
● Progress payments may be required at defined milestones
● Final payment is due upon substantial completion
● Late payments may incur interest, fees, or work stoppage
● Client agrees to pay reasonable collection costs if payment becomes delinquent
Ownership of materials and installed work may remain with Trusted Touch Construction until payment is received in full where permitted by law.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
● Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site
● Secure pets and valuables
● Remove personal belongings from work areas
● Ensure utilities (water, electricity, etc.) are available
● Notify us of known hazards or structural issues
● Make timely decisions regarding selections and changes
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays or additional charges.
7. Change Orders
Any modification to the scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Verbal requests may not be honored.
Change orders may affect both price and completion date.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Unless explicitly stated in a written contract:
● Materials are subject only to manufacturer warranties
● Labor warranties, if offered, will be defined in writing
● Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unauthorized alterations void any applicable warranty
● We do not guarantee against natural settling, structural movement, or environmental effects
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trusted Touch Construction shall not be liable for:
● Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
● Loss of use, income, or property value
● Damage caused by pre-existing conditions
● Acts of third parties
● Delays outside our control
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
10. Insurance
Trusted Touch Construction maintains insurance coverage as required by applicable law. Proof of insurance may be provided upon reasonable request.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own property insurance during the project.
11. Site Safety
Construction areas can be hazardous. Clients, occupants, and visitors must keep a safe distance from active work zones.
We are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
